Happy Anniversary
I have the sweetest, kindest, most loving parents a girl could ever wish for. They have given my sisters and I the kind of heritage that will last beyond this life. Last summer when they came for my son's graduation, I took an opportunity to create some beautiful portraits of them that turned out spectacular. I salute and honor you today Mom and Dad, as you celebrate 46 years of marriage. I love you both so very much!

Oh Baby!
I was given a wonderful opportunity recently to photograph this beautiful baby boy, Lucas. I just love newborns! I love being a part of a huge first in their new life - Baby's first portraits. Lucas has the most loving parents and adorable older sister, Ava. The love and care Ava gives her baby brother just takes my breath away! Lucas, you are a most blessed baby.

The first time I met this gorgeous girl, I was struck by how much she reminded me of photos I had seen of Lisa Marie Presley. I was even more shocked when she said that no one had ever told her that before. Christina (Tiny) was so fabulous to photograph, honestly, there was not a bad photo of her. What's with these girls and their eyes? Simply stunning! Boise's fall colors made the most beautiful background for Tiny and her beautiful mom.

My beautiful niece
Wow, the summer has just flown by! The highlight for me this summer was photographing my niece for her one year portraits. There is nothing cuter than a princess in a tutu holding onto her flower "lollipop". I hadn't seen Amaris since she was born so it was a huge privilege for me to be able to have this opportunity. What a sweetheart she is and kept us laughing our entire visit with her. During the photo session, I found myself wishing I had brought a squeaky toy with me to get her attention. Having none, I improvised and made the squeaky noises myself. She loved it! So did the entourage that was there with her. We laughed so hard! Love, love, love my family

Class of 2009
The class of 2009 is very special to me, because one of it's members is my first born son. The photographing of Seniors is so awesome because you get to be a part of this huge moment when these young adults are embarking on their futures. I love to be around them during their Senior year, they are so full of life, hope and promise. Nothing quite prepared me though, for what I would experience when photographing my own son's senior portraits. Happiness for his future, but such an aching sadness at how fast we got to this place in time. Colten is constantly making me laugh, even when I'm trying to be stern with him, (especially when he's in trouble), he's immensly talented in music and just the nicest young man ever. I know this sappy old Mom is long winded today, but I love this guy so much!

My first senior for the class of 2008 was a young man I had known since he was a little tyke. Well... actually... Chris was never really little. He was always heads and feet taller than the rest of the guys. This was my first opportunity to photograph any kind of military session and I loved the experience. Of course, it didn't hurt that Chris is such an awesome guy. We had so much fun! I had brought a squeaky toy with me thinking that I was going to photograph Chris with his dog, but the dog was unavailable. No problem - the squeaky toy brought huge laughs out of Chris. A photographer does what she has to :)
